Oliver James Associates – Out Of Office Festival & Christmas Parties

In 2019 we were invited to produce their summer party. The brief was to supply full technical production including site power as well as bands, DJs and performers to create a mini day festival complete with overnight glamping for their 300 strong team flown in from offices across Europe.
The venue was the Ashley Hall Showground in Cheshire and the party was aptly named ‘Out Of Office’. A two-day build took place to ensure that stage, audio production and lighting systems were installed to the highest standards with distributed site lighting and power supplied to cover the 2000sqm site.
The show featured performances from several bands and DJs, as well as a lineup of Drag Queens, aerial circus performers, dancers and actors keeping the party atmosphere going long into the night. The programme of event entertainment was curated in full by Neuron.
Following on from the summer’s success, we were invited back to produce their 2019 Christmas party at the Palace Hotel in Manchester. The theme of Apres Ski saw a transformation of the hotel’s basement nightclub, complete with custom set design and event prop hire including real fir trees, vintage skis, winter lodge seating booths and even a lifesize chair lift photo booth.
As well as venue dressing, Neuron once again supplied full AV production and entertainment hire. With a band and acoustic soloist taking care of the music and our very own ski-themed performers (pictured) fresh from the slopes. The jewel in the crown was a full-scale winter grotto complete with Bad Santa, Naughty Elf, and presents for all the guests.
