Supporting the work of an important organisation

Manchester-based support group Suicide Bereavement UK do critical work. In collaboration with Pennine Care NHS Trust, their annual conference provides an opportunity for bereaved families and those struggling with mental health to connect with support workers and the scientific community to help them cope.

We were approached to provide conferencing services to live stream from a hotel location, but with lockdown restrictions in place we were able to offer a much more cost-effective option by hosting the conference from our studio. This saved valuable funds for the organisation to help support their work.

With a range of presenters and break out workshops, we set up a comprehensive control system at our premises. Distributing and coordinating a number of zoom calls from around the world.
With the conference being digital-only for this edition, the organisers found it dramatically increased their potential reach with international attendees and speakers from over 20 countries able to be included.

Our delivery was such a great success that the organisers have asked us to deliver streaming on top of their usual in-person offering later in 2021. This increases the potential reach and impact of their services and offers a much greater event capacity and income opportunity. We strongly believe that streaming will form a key component of live conferencing for years to come.
